1. Executive Overview

The Global Competitive Memory Sport Ecosystem Promotion Initiative (the “Initiative”) is established to advance the structured, sustainable, and internationally coordinated development of Competitive Memory Sport. This Whitepaper constitutes the inaugural governance framework integrating ecosystem expansion, structured coaching recognition, competitive ranking systems,and responsible development standards.

3. Governance Structure

The Initiative operates through four structural components:

1) Coaching Development Allocation

2) Coaching Registration & Eligibility

3) Global Memory Coaching Ranking System

4) Global Memory Coaching Achievement & Distinction Framework

3.1 Coaching Development Allocation

For each officially confirmed competitive athlete cultivated and entered into accredited competition,a standard Coaching Development Allocation shall be provided in accordance with the Initiative’s internal operational framework. 

The specific allocation standard is defined within the internaloperational  guidelines and may be adjusted in accordance with governance review procedures.

This allocation constitutes structured development support and does not represent a commission,referral reward, or commercial incentive.

Permitted uses include:

Curriculum enhancement and structured lesson development；

Competitive training methodology refinement and athlete preparation systems

Educational material development (workbooks, drills, practice sets, and assessment tools)；

Digital delivery infrastructure for coaching (learning resources, administration tools, and remote training support)；

Coach certification, continuing professional development, and skills progression；

Local and regional memory sport promotion initiatives supporting safe grassroots expansion；

Teaching tools and facility upgrades directly supporting athlete development.

3.2 Coaching Registration & Eligibility

Participation in the Global Memory Coaching Ranking System requires formal coach registration. Registration channels shall be independently published by the respective Memory Sports Councils in each region.

Registration is free of charge.

Upon successful verification, an electronic registration certificate shall be issued within seven (7) working days by the UK Memory Sports Council.

is not provided as a high-resolution, print-ready document; and is intended solely for personal identification and ecosystem record purposes.

Coaches who require a printed certificate may request an official hard-copy version. 

The printed certificate is subject to a separate administrative fee of GBP 16, which covers certificate production,official certificate folder, administrative handling, and international postal delivery from the United Kingdom to the applicant’s country. The printed certificate is optional and does not affect ranking eligibility.

具体拨付标准依据内部运营规范执行，并可根据治理审议机制进行调整。

本拨付属于结构化发展支持，不构成佣金、推荐奖励或商业激励。

专项资金可用于：

课程体系优化与教学结构升级

竞技训练方法与备赛体系完善

教学材料研发

数字化教学与设施支持

教练专业认证与持续进修

区域基层推广活动

教学工具与设施升级（用于选手培养）

3.2 教练注册与资格机制

参与全球记忆竞技教练排名体系须完成教练注册。各国记忆运动理事会将分别发布独立注册通道。

注册完全免费。审核通过后七（7）个工作日内，由英国记忆运动协会发送电子版注册证书。

仅提供电子版本；

不提供高清可打印版本；

仅用于个人身份识别与生态系统备案。

如需纸质证书，可单独申请官方纸质版。纸质证书需另行支付 16 英镑行政费用，费用包含证书制作、证书封皮、人工处理及从英国寄往申请人所在国家的国际邮寄费用。

纸质证书为可选服务，不影响排名资格。

3.3 Global Memory Coaching Ranking System

The Global Memory Coaching Ranking System establishes an annual, performance-based coaching ranking structure applicable to officially recognised competitions conducted within the2026 competitive cycle.

The following accredited competitions are included in the annual ranking calculation:

American Memory Masters Qualifying Open

UK Memory Masters Qualifying Open

Asia Memory Master Qualifying Open

All verified athlete distinction outcomes obtained in the above competitions shall be incorporated into the annual coaching ranking system.

3.3.1 Eligibility and Scope

Any coach whose athletes officially participate in the recognised 2026 competitions and obtain verified distinction levels shall be eligible for inclusion in the annual ranking. The ranking is determined exclusively by verified athlete distinction results and the corresponding points allocation structure defined herein.

3.3.2 Official Athlete Distinction Levels

The following competitive distinction tiers are recognised uniformly across all accredited competitions:

Grandmaster of Memory

Master of Memory

Apprentice Master of Memory

Memory ExplorerEach competition may issue these titles regionally; however, for ranking purposes, all equivalent tiers are treated uniformly within the Global Memory Coaching Ranking System.

3.3.3 Points Allocation Structure

Points shall be awarded to coaches based on the highest verified distinction level achieved by each athlete directly cultivated and officially entered into accredited competition by the coach:

Grandmaster of Memory — 10 Points

Master of Memory — 6 Points

Apprentice Master of Memory — 3 Points

Memory Explorer — 1 Point

3.3.4 Annual Ranking Determination

Coaches shall be ranked annually based on the cumulative total of verified points obtained within the calendar year. The Global Memory Coaching Ranking is recalculated each year to reflect annual performance outcomes and verified athlete achievements.

The ranking system serves to:

Recognise sustained coaching excellence

Encourage structured athlete progression

Promote measurable competitive impact

Establish transparent annual standing within the competitive memory sport ecosystem

The ranking constitutes a performance-based recognition mechanism and does not represent

financial entitlement or commercial incentive.

3.3.5 Tie-Breaking Mechanism

In the event that two or more coaches obtain an identical total points score within the annual ranking cycle, the following hierarchical tie-breaking criteria shall apply:

The coach with the higher total number of athletes awarded the distinction of Grandmaster ofMemory shall rank higher.

If no coach within the tied group has cultivated a Grandmaster of Memory, or if the number of Grandmasters is equal, ranking priority shall be determined by the higher total number of athletes awarded the distinction of Master of Memory.

If the tie remains unresolved, subsequent comparison shall proceed in descending order of distinction level: Apprentice Master of Memory, then Memory Explorer.

If all distinction quantities remain identical, the tied coaches shall share the same ranking position for that annual cycle.

This tie-breaking mechanism ensures competitive clarity while preserving fairness and transparency.

3.3 全球记忆竞技教练年度积分排名体系

全球记忆竞技教练年度积分排名体系，是基于竞技成绩建立的年度教练排名结构，适用于2026年度正式认可赛事体系。

纳入年度积分统计的赛事包括：

American Memory Masters Qualifying Open

UK Memory Masters Qualifying Open

Asia Memory Master Qualifying Open

上述赛事中获得的官方等级结果，均纳入年度教练积分计算范围。

3.3.1 适用范围

凡教练所培养并正式参赛的运动员，在认可赛事中获得官方等级称号者，均可纳入年度教练积分统计。排名仅依据经核实的运动员等级结果与本规则所定义的积分结构进行计算。

3.3.2 官方竞技等级体系

以下四个竞技等级在所有认可赛事中统一适用：

Grandmaster of Memory(特级记忆大师)

Master of Memory(记忆大师)

Apprentice Master of Memory(见习记忆大师)

Memory Explorer(记忆探索者)

各赛事可在区域内颁发上述称号，但在积分统计中，等级标准统一对待。

3.3.3 积分分配规则

教练根据其直接培养并正式参赛的运动员所获得的最高等级称号，获得对应积分：

特级记忆大师 — 10 分

记忆大师 — 6 分

见习记忆大师 — 3 分

记忆探索者 — 1 分

3.3.4 年度排名机制

教练依据年度累计有效积分进行全球排名。排名每年重新统计，以反映经核实的年度竞技成果。

该体系旨在：

认可持续稳定的教练培养成果

鼓励结构化选手成长路径

建立可量化的竞技影响力评估

构建透明的年度教练排名结构

本排名体系属于竞技表现认可机制，不构成任何经济收益承诺或商业激励结构。

3.3.5 平分处理机制

如在年度排名统计中出现两名或以上教练累计积分相同的情况，按照以下层级顺序进行平分处理：

优先比较特级记忆大师(Grandmaster of Memory)培养数量，数量较多者排名在前;

如平分教练均未培养特级记忆大师，或特级记忆大师数量相同，则比较记忆大师(Master of Memory)培养总数量，数量较多者排名在前;

如仍无法区分，则依次比较：

见习记忆大师(Apprentice Master of Memory)数量、记忆探索者(Memory Explorer)数量。

如各等级数量完全相同，则该年度排名并列。

本平分机制旨在保障排名体系的清晰性、公正性与透明性。

3.4 Global Memory Coaching Achievement & Distinction Framework

The Global Memory Coaching Achievement & Distinction Framework establishes a structured recognition system designed to formally acknowledge coaching excellence based on verified athlete performance and competitive progression. This framework operates independently of the annual ranking system and serves as a long-term identity recognition structure within the Competitive Memory Sport ecosystem.

3.4.1 Purpose

The framework aims to:

Recognise verified coaching achievement

Formalise coaching distinction levels

Encourage sustained athlete cultivation  

Establish internationally coherent identity recognition

3.4.2 Basis of Distinction

Coaching distinction levels are determined based on the highest verified competitive distinction achieved by athletes directly cultivated and officially entered into accredited competitions by the coach. Where applicable, a coach may be recognised at the highest distinction tier achieved by any athlete under their direct cultivation. Distinction recognition is based exclusively on verified competitive results and official registration records.

3.4.3 Recognised Athlete Distinction Tiers

The following competitive tiers form the basis of coaching distinction alignment:

Grandmaster of Memory

Master of Memory

Apprentice Master of Memory

Memory Explorer

3.4.4 Coaching Distinction Recognition

A coach may be formally recognised at a distinction level corresponding to the highest verified tier achieved by their cultivated athlete(s). For example: a coach who has cultivated at least one Grandmaster of Memory may be recognised at the highest coaching distinction level aligned to Grandmaster; a coach whose highest cultivated athlete distinction is Master of Memory may be recognised accordingly. Recognition is based on verified competition data and official records.

3.4.5 Official Coaching Performance Record

Official coaching recognition documentation may include:

Total number of athletes cultivated

Distribution of athlete distinctions achieved

Highest competitive tier attained

Verified annual participation metricsThis structured record serves as formal documentation of coaching achievement within the ecosystem.

3.4.6 Regional Certification Structure

Distinction certificates under the ecosystem are issued regionally by officially recognised competitions:

American Memory Masters Qualifying Open

UK Memory Masters Qualifying Open

Asia Memory Master Qualifying Open

Each competition grants certificates within its regional designation structure. Although certificates are regionally issued, the distinction tiers remain structurally equivalent across all accredited competitions. Regional certification does not alter competitive tier equivalence within the unified governance framework.

3.4.7 Annual Renewal Mechanism (Coaching Distinction)

Coaching Distinction Recognition under this framework is subject to annual verification and renewal. Distinction status is valid for one competitive cycle (one calendar year).

Annual renewal is based on:

Active coach registration for the annual cycle

Verified athlete participation and/or verified distinction outcomes within the annual cycle

Compliance with ecosystem governance standards

Where no verified participation is recorded for a given annual cycle, the coach’s distinction status may be marked as inactive for that year. Annual renewal is designed to preserve the integrity, accuracy, and dynamic governance of the ecosystem.

3.4 全球记忆竞技教练成就与荣誉认证体系

全球记忆竞技教练成就与荣誉认证体系，是基于运动员竞技成绩与等级晋升情况，对教练培养成果进行结构化荣誉确认的制度框架。本体系独立于年度积分排名体系运行，属于生态体系中的长期身份认证结构。

3.4.1 设立目的

本体系旨在：

认可经核实的教练培养成果

建立教练荣誉等级结构

鼓励持续稳定的选手培养

构建国际统一身份认证体系

3.4.2 认定依据

教练荣誉等级依据其直接培养并正式参赛的运动员所获得的最高竞技等级进行认定。所有认定仅基于经核实的赛事成绩数据与官方注册记录。

3.4.3 官方竞技等级依据以下竞技等级作为教练荣誉认证的基础：

特级记忆大师（Grandmaster of Memory）

记忆大师（Master of Memory）

见习记忆大师（Apprentice Master of Memory）

记忆探索者（Memory Explorer）

3.4.4 教练荣誉认定原则

教练根据其所培养运动员达到的最高竞技等级，获得相应荣誉等级认定。认定依据官方核实数据与参赛记录。

3.4.5 教练官方成就记录

教练荣誉认证文件可包括：

累计培养运动员人数

各等级分布情况

最高竞技等级

年度参赛核实数据

该记录作为教练在生态体系内的正式成果档案。

3.4.6 区域证书体系说明

生态体系下的等级证书，由各官方认可赛事分别在其区域内独立颁发：

UK Memory Masters Qualifying Open

Asia Memory Master Qualifying Open

各赛事独立颁发区域证书，但等级结构统一等效。区域证书颁发形式不影响等级在统一治理框架中的等效性。

3.4.7 荣誉年度更新机制

本体系下的教练荣誉认证实行年度核验与更新机制，荣誉有效期为一个赛事周期（自然年度）。

年度更新依据：

当年度教练注册有效

当年度有经核实的参赛记录与/或等级结果

符合生态治理规范

如某年度无经核实参赛记录，教练荣誉状态可标记为该年度“未激活”。年度更新机制旨在保障体系的真实性、准确性与动态治理。
