今年10月，兴业县蒲塘镇米粉协会、兴业县蒲塘镇米粉协会品牌指导站正式揭牌成立，蒲塘镇2名人大代表成为该协会的一员，引领并推动该镇米粉产业发展壮大。
蒲塘米粉是蒲塘镇的名优特色产品，也是老字号、老品牌，至今已有300多年历史。2010年，蒲塘粉制作技艺入选县级非物质文化遗产保护名录。该镇现有制作蒲塘粉的厂家18家，其中3家为卷粉厂，15家为米粉厂，从业人员达1500多人。

在推动蒲塘米粉产业发展过程中，驻蒲塘镇的各级人大代表既是参与者也是监督者。蒲塘人大从成立协会的前期筹备工作，再到协会成立后的监督推进，始终践行全过程人民民主，全过程跟进监督，从而加快推进了蒲塘米粉协会及蒲塘镇米粉协会品牌站的建成，积极助推了蒲塘米粉产业的发展。
蒲塘镇米粉协会品牌指导站运行后，将为该镇30多家米粉企业和个人提供商标注册辅导、商标规范使用提示、商标维权援助、商标运用指导、自主品牌培育等服务。蒲塘镇人大将监督贯穿于该指导站工作的全过程，并积极发挥人大代表作用，积极宣传推介“蒲塘米粉”商标品牌，引导“蒲塘米粉”走品牌经营之路，讲好蒲塘米粉品牌故事，推动“兴业特色”向“兴业品牌”转变，助力打造一批拥有核心竞争力、高附加值的自主品牌企业。摘自：蒲塘镇人大
