POS Hardware Prices Are Rising — What Do Customers Really Care About?
Recently, the POS hardware industry has been facing increasing cost pressure. Changes in chips, memory, raw materials and logistics costs can all affect final prices.
But from my experience working with customers, I’ve found that price is not the only thing they care about.
They also look at product stability, supply continuity, reliable delivery, and consistent quality.
For a POS system that operates every day, saving a few dollars at the beginning may not be worthwhile if it leads to failures, delays or higher after-sales costs later.
Price matters, but stability and long-term value matter too.
