香港特别行政区–媒体外展–2023年7月27日–能源管理和工业自动化数字化转型的领导者施耐德电气今天宣布，它已与铂金电气工程公司合作，为低成本藻类碳捕获领域的先驱Brilliant Planet实施EcoStruxure自动化专家解决方案。

光辉星球使用藻类作为一种负担得起的方法，以千兆吨级的规模永久和量化地隔离碳。该公司在沿海土地上的露天池塘系统中培养大量微藻。这些森林从大气中吸收的碳比同样面积的森林多30倍。根据联合国政府间气候变化专门委员会(IPCC)的说法，碳捕获技术是应对气候变化努力的重要组成部分。

经过八年的研发，包括在摩洛哥占地三公顷的工厂进行四年的试验，Brilliant Planet现在正在开发一个可扩展的平台，将在全球各地部署。
