2019年9月，蔡甸经济开发区于核心区建设武汉中德国际产业园。园区规划面积20平方公里，重点聚焦新能源及智能网联汽车、智能制造、新能源新材料、智能家居等产业，集聚了以伟巴斯特全球最大工厂、普旭真空中国区首家生产基地、欧颂全球第二总部、西门子华中首家工业互联网赋能中心、迪莫环境科技高端热泵研发中心等为代表的德资项目，包括美国博格华纳、安道拓、日本牧野机床、电装、韩国三立、芬兰林斯特龙、西班牙科德等国际先进制造业企业130余家。

In September 2019,  the Wuhan Sino-German International Industrial Park was established in the core area of the Caidian economic development zone. The planned construction area of the Sino-German Wuhan International Industrial Park is 20 square kilometers, with a primary focus on industries such as new energy & ICVs, intelligent equipment, new energy & materials, and smart homes. The park attracts a range of German-funded projects, including Webasto (with its world's largest factory), Busch Group (China's first production base), Osann (second global headquarters), Siemens (Central China's first industrial internet-enabled center), and Thermoplus (high-end heat pump R&D center). Over 130 international advanced manufacturing enterprises such as American firms BorgWarner and Adient, Japanese firms Makino and Denso, South Korean SL corporation, Finnish Lindström, and Spanish CIE Glode have settled and grown here.

伟巴斯特（Webasto）是一家有着110年历史的全球最大汽车天窗制造商，总部位于德国，在全球有7个研发中心、30多个生产基地、50多个分支机构，主要致力于为全球的汽车制造商和汽车用户提供高品质汽车天窗和供暖系统。作为世界100强汽车零配件供应商和德国15强汽车零部件供应商，Webasto目前的主营业务有：可折叠车顶、汽车天窗与车身系统（CRB）以及全球舒乘系统（GCS）。伟巴斯特2017年在蔡甸区征地100亩，投资3亿元建设伟巴斯特全球最大工厂，主要生产汽车天窗、新能源汽车充电桩、加热器等产品。

Webasto is a global leader in the manufacturing of automotive sunroofs with a history spanning 110 years. Headquartered in Germany, Webasto has seven R&D centers, over 30 production bases, and more than 50 branches worldwide, mainly providing high-quality automobile sunroof and heating systems for automobile manufacturers and users worldwide. As one of the top 100 global automotive component suppliers and one of Germany's top 15 automotive parts suppliers, Webasto's main business areas include folding roofs, automobile sunroof and body systems (CRB), and global ride comfort systems (GCS). In 2017, Webasto acquired 66,667 square meters of land in Caidian district and invested CNY 300 million to build Webasto's largest factory in the world. This factory mainly produces automobile skylights, charging piles for new energy vehicles, heaters, and other related products.

德国普旭（Busch）公司创立于1963年，是全世界最大的真空泵、鼓风机及压缩机厂商之一，能提供世界最广泛的工业真空技术解决方案。普旭真空在全球40多个国家及地区设有60多个分支机构，在德国、瑞士、英国、捷克、韩国和美国拥有现代化制造工厂，拥有约3800名员工。普旭真空设备亚太生产、销售基地项目于2023年2月10日签约落户蔡甸区，是德国普旭在海外的最大投资项目，也是其在中国投资设立的首个生产基地。

Founded in 1963, Busch Group is one of the world's largest manufacturers of vacuum pumps, blowers, and compressors, offering an extensive range of industrial vacuum technology solutions. With over 60 subsidiaries in more than 40 countries and regions worldwide, Busch provides comprehensive vacuum solutions. The company maintains modern manufacturing facilities in Germany, Switzerland, the UK, the Czech Republic, South Korea, and the United States, employing approximately 3,800 people. On February 10, 2023, Busch Vacuum Solutions established its Asia-Pacific production and sales base project in the Caidian district. This project stands out as Busch's largest investment overseas and marks its inaugural production base established in China.

武汉新能源研究院有限公司由武汉市人民政府和华中科技大学共同组建，于2016年7月正式成立，主要致力于新能源的技术研发、项目孵化和产业投资，通过新能源的开发和利用，保障可持续发展，在传统能源的清洁化高效利用、新能源产业链、能源互联网及能源政策四大方向实现重大突破，培育新能源领域的创新型技术和企业。新能源研究院大楼是目前我国最大的绿色仿生建筑。

Wuhan New Energy Research Institute Co., Ltd. was jointly established by the Wuhan Municipal People's Government and Huazhong University of Science and Technology in July 2016. The institute primarily focuses on technological research and development in the field of new energy, project incubation, and industrial investment. It aims to ensure sustainable human development through the exploration and utilization of new energy sources. The institute achieves breakthroughs in four major directions: the clean and efficient utilization of traditional energy sources, new energy industry chains, energy Internet, and energy policy, and to cultivate several innovative technologies and enterprises in the new energy sector. The  Wuhan New Energy Research Institute building  is currently the largest green biomimetic building in China.

采埃孚股份公司是一家全球性技术公司，致力于为乘用车、商用车和工业技术领域提供下一代移动性系统产品。采埃孚汽车系统（武汉）有限公司成立于2011年，位于武汉经济技术开发区全力北路，占地面积26000平方米，现有员工1100多人。公司主要生产乘用车制动系统电子驻车卡钳、前制动卡钳、安全气囊、安全带、真空助力器等产品，客户主要涉及奔驰、宝马、本田、大众、通用、长安、广汽等国内外主流车企。

ZF Friedrichshafen AG is a global technology company committed to providing next-generation mobility system products for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and industrial technology. ZF Automotive Systems (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. was established in 2011 and is located on Quanli North Road in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone. The company covers an area of 26,000 square meters and currently employs over 1,100 people. The company primarily manufactures products such as electronic parking brake calipers, front brake calipers, airbags, seat belts, and vacuum boosters for passenger car braking systems. Its clientele mainly includes major domestic and international automotive manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Honda, Volkswagen, General Motors, Changan Auto, and GAC.
