3月27日下午，代表团成员抵达镇江后首先参加了“探索产业集群-镇江”交流与对接会，江苏省贸促会副会长丛苏峰，德国海外商会联盟大中华区副总裁舒友涵分别在会上致辞。时美达（上海）国际货运代理有限公司执行董事吴亦农女士，德国北威州国际商务署南京代表处首席代表徐军女士作为德企代表团嘉宾为大家做了分享。之后，镇江经开区招商局长朱东东向大家介绍了镇江经开区的产业优势， 镇江经开区党工委副书记陈鹏飞在总结发言中强调了中德合作的重要性。其后的中德企业对接会环节，德企代表们带着各自的业务诉求与当地企业代表进行了精准友好的互动。

In the afternoon of March 27, the German delegation arrived in Zhenjiang and participated in the ‘Industry Cluster Insights- Zhenjiang’ Exchange and Matchmaking Event. The meeting started with welcome speeches by Mr. Cong Sufeng, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Jiangsu and Mr. Jonathan Schoo, Vice President of AHK Greater China. Following this, Mrs. Constance Wu, Executive Director of time:matters GmbH and Mrs. Xu Jun, Chief Representative of NRW.Global Business China / Nanjing shared their valuable insights as representatives of the German delegation. Afterwards, Mr. Zhu Dongdong, Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, presented the industrial advantages of Zhenjiang, and Mr. Chen Pengfei, Deputy Secretary of the CWC  of Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, emphasized the importance of Sino-German cooperation in his concluding remarks. During the matchmaking session, the German delegates had precise and friendly interactions with representatives of local enterprises based on their respective business requirements.

是日傍晚，代表团来到镇江知名的西津渡历史文化街区听取了关于镇江历史发展的典故及介绍，在润物无声的绵绵细雨中漫步于古道石阶，沉浸式感受了这座“一眼看千年”的文化名城。之后，代表团还在精心准备的欢迎晚宴上品尝到了当地的特色菜肴。

In the evening of the same day, the delegation visited the Xijin Ferry Historical and Cultural District to learn about the historical development of Zhenjiang and listen to fascinating stories. They strolled along the stone steps of the ancient paths in the gentle drizzle, immersing themselves in the rich cultural experience of this famous city, which has been "seen for thousands of years at a glance". The delegation also enjoyed local specialties at a well-prepared welcome dinner afterward.

3月28日上午，代表团成员首先来到全球三元软包动力电池领军企业孚能科技（镇江）有限公司，通过观察窗了解了锂电池生产制作工艺并参观了亚洲最大的电池常温静置库。孚能科技制造车间的自动化、智能化、数字化和低碳化令德企代表团一行印象深刻。

On the morning of March 28, the delegation first visited Farasis Energy (Zhenjiang) Co., Ltd., the world's leading producer of ternary soft pack power batteries. They had the opportunity to observe the production process of lithium-ion power batteries up close and also visited Asia's largest battery static warehouse at room temperature. The delegation members were deeply impressed by the plant’s high level of automation, intelligence, digitization, and low carbon emissions.  

企业参观的第二站，德企代表团来到镇江的第二大产业集群-新材料行业的代表企业巴斯夫特种材料（江苏）有限公司。代表们分成两组先后参观了用于建筑涂料和胶粘剂等应用领域的消泡剂实验室和DCS控制室。在实验室里代表们兴趣盎然地观看了涂布机运行的全过程。

On the second stop of the day, the German delegation visited BASF Specialty Materials (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., a representative company in the new materials industry, which is the second largest industrial cluster in Zhenjiang. The delegates were divided into two groups and had the opportunity to visit the defoamer laboratory and DCS control room, which are used in various applications such as architectural coatings and adhesives. The delegates watched the entire process of coating machine operation with great interests.

下午德企代表团参加了镇江市政府举办的推介会，江苏省贸促会会长王善华，镇江市常务副市长张克，德国海外商会联盟大中华区副总裁舒友涵先后在会上致辞，林德公司大中华区政府事务和大客户管理总监曾琦诚作为德企代表在会上表示，德国企业十分看好中国市场和镇江的投资环境，林德将加大在镇江的投资力度，通过更大的工业气体平台服务镇江更多领域的新质生产力。

In the afternoon, the German delegation participated in the Zhenjiang Promotion Conference hosted by the local municipal government. Mr. Wang Shanhua, Director of Jiangsu Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Jiangsu), Mr. Zhang Ke, Executive Deputy Mayor of Zhenjiang, and Mr. Jonathan Schoo, Vice President of AHK Greater China, delivered welcome speeches respectively. As a representative of the German company delegates, Mrs. Taylor Zeng, Director of Governmental Affairs and Key Account Management of Linde (China) Investment Co., Ltd., expressed in her speech that German companies hold a positive outlook towards the Chinese market and Zhenjiang's investment environment. Mrs. Zeng also mentioned that Linde would increase its investment efforts in Zhenjiang to better serve the city’s new quality productivity in various areas through a larger industrial gas platform.
